HQ AnimeTCG Match Logger — Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 8, 2026

This policy covers the HQ AnimeTCG Match Logger browser extension. It detects game results on the AnimeTCG simulator, suggests deck identities, and records authorized games in HQ Team Hub.

Where it runs

The extension processes game-related clues only on play.animetcg.com, using relevant page content, game state, network, WebSocket, and browser storage data. It contacts hq-jarvisui.vercel.app to access HQ team deck information and submit records. Its permissions are limited to these domains and Chrome storage. It does not request access to every website or general browser history.

Data processed

Data may include simulator player and deck labels, game outcomes, matchup details, game/session identifiers, relevant game-state text, detector fingerprints, and deck-correction evidence. Members also supply an HQ extension token used to attribute submitted matches to their team profile. Some configuration, including the token, is stored using Chrome synchronized extension storage (which may sync across signed-in Chrome browsers); deck caches and learned fingerprints also use local extension storage.

Purpose, sharing, and auto-submit

HQ uses these records to confirm matches, prevent duplicate submissions, show team practice analytics, and improve deck suggestions. Authorized HQ administrators and members may see practice and matchup information under their assigned permissions. HQ's hosting and database providers process the data to operate the service. High-confidence automatic submission is optional and disabled by default. New unlisted decks may be routed to the HQ Deck Library Needs List.

Extension data is not sold to advertisers or data brokers and is not used for personalized advertising.

Security and retention

Requests to HQ use HTTPS and a team-issued authorization token. Submitted records may be retained to support team match history, attribution, and analytics; no fixed record deletion period is currently published. Removing the extension stops further browser-side collection but does not delete existing HQ records. Members can contact their HQ Team Hub administrator through normal team channels to revoke an extension token or request access, correction, or deletion of submitted records.

Chrome Web Store limited use

Information received through Google APIs is handled in accordance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, and is used only for the functionality described above.

Policy updates

Material changes to data-handling practices will be disclosed and this page will be updated before those changes take effect.
